the project is slowing creeping along….at a snails pace but at least it’s still going. maybe it will be like a 2 year – 365 project instead of a 1 year project. ha! oh well…I know that I am appreciating the small moments more and more when I take out my camera. moments that would normally pass me by without a thought now seem a bit more engrained in my head and in my heart. so maybe, take out your camera today and capture those small moments that may seem so insignificant…I bet when you look at them years from now they will make you smile.

saturday was my birthday.  part of me can’t believe it…really? another year gone by?  where has it gone? every year passes faster then the last. so amongst the hustle and bustle of things I took a moment and paused to reflect on what I’m most grateful for at this moment.

my relationship with god.
my parents. I love my parents with all of my heart.
my husband.
my crazy adorable Jack.
cheesecake with fresh strawberries (mind you – I ate an entire cheesecake this week)
my health. (maybe I shouldn’t of listed cheesecake right before my health)
the smell of Spring.
the laughter of Jack vibrating through the house.
the quietness of being alone.
receiving so many phone calls today from friends and family to wish me happy birthday, just to hear their voices made me smile.
being inspired.
the morning walks I take with Jack and Mike.
fresh flowers in the house.
the awe inspiring miracle it is to be pregnant and feel this baby move inside of me everyday.
the happiness I feel on this next journey of my life and all the wonderful and beautiful things that await us and our family.

the funny story behind this photo is Jack kept blowing out the candles so we had to finally take them out and put in one sparkler that he couldn’t blow out just so I could get a photo!!

Slowed down a bit w/ the 365 project, things have been busy. This was taken Saturday evening after the big snow fall, I’m so ready for Spring!! Luckily this week has been beautiful!! Happy St. Patricks Day!
