Garden of Art
Back in September, I had a oppourtunity to photograph and be a part of The Garden of Art show which is a annual local artists show that is put on by a wonderful woman by the name of Lauri Grimshaw-Cox. She really went all out to find some wonderful and very talented artists that are here locally in Salt Lake City. All were women and all handmade their own crafts. I was fortunate enough to be included with these wonderful women and had a booth of my own where I was able to showcase some of my portrait + wedding work. It was two days of mingling with some great women, looking at great art and enjoying the local community.
If you are interested on keeping tabs of where and when next year’s show will be, you can go to her blog which is here.

For Thanksgiving we went to my parents house in California and spent some quality time with my parents and my brother and his family. We had a great time…we were there for 5 days and each day I made sure to take at least one photo….for this 365 project..

My nephew Nate pictured here, we went out to this Christmas Tree Farm and they had the weirdest thing ever..it had been used during Halloween, all the leaves were withered now but it was almost like a spooky alleyway of leaves, branches and these vegetables handing down. It was a good distance to walk down it from one end to the other, the kids loved it.
still.here.
I am such a bad blogger, I’m so sorry!! I have so much to post, lots of great sessions but the blog has taken a backseat! Plus I am encountering some technical difficulties. I’m working through them on this blog but it’s also affecting my ability to update new posts. Stay tuned! I promise I will be back!!
Edited to add my most favorite subject besides my own son. I took this image about 20 minutes ago, I’m in SF visiting family at the moment.
