Our second son was born on Monday May 17th @ 12:13 am. 8 lbs, 9 ounces. 20 inches long.

We are thrilled and completely in love with this little guy.

I am going to post some photos soon but wanted to also let you know that I will be resuming sessions after June 19th and will be on maternity leave until then.

I have had several inquiries the last few days so you should be hearing back from me very soon! So sorry for the delay!

When I was home in CA a few weeks ago, I went to one of my friends weddings. it was so great to see my friends I’ve grown up with, we had a lot of laughs.
Keep in touch with those friends who knew you – knew you when you had braces, acne, wore padded bras, who you shared every detail of your first kiss with, who knew you through all the awkward and wonderful stages of becoming you.
When you see them again, there is a comfort there.
They know you.
Cherish those friendships.
Life is to short not to have girlfriends.

I hope each of you are having a wonderful holiday season. We have been having a great time relaxing, eating so much food, cookies, sweets, you name it and I have probably consumed it. It’s been delicous. Here is a collage of my son that I put together…we went for a walk last week in the snow. It was a great time….Happy Holidays!!

A San Francisco Exhibit

I visited my brother and his family in San Francisco last month in November, it was a great weekend getaway, just myself and I took full advantage of what the great city of San Francisco offers in terms of arts and culture. I visited the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and went to the Richard Avedon Exhibit. Avedon is a magnificent photographer who’s work spans from the 1950′s to 2004 when he passed away. If you have a few minutes be sure to check him out in more detail on his website.

All of these photos I took inside the exhibit..to show what stunning work he has accomplished.

This next photo is my favorite, I was sitting there watching this older gentlemen look at this photo of Marilyn Monroe and I knew I had to snap this. The angle almost looks as though she is peerly directly back at him.

In other news, I have so much to post, I’m finishing up a fundraiser that I was a part of that I can’t wait to post images from, I’m working on a brand new wedding website for 2010 and trying to update my current portrait site!! Lots of plans in the making!! Keep checking in! XOXO

I’m alive!! I am sure some of you were probably wondering where I was! I have a couple of great shoots…and a wedding to post…all in due time though…for now my 365 project is going to take precedence.

This is my son Jack (with the binkie) which I am happy to report as of last week we got rid of it!! I think it’s always much harder for the parents then it is for the kids..he has been a trooper without it…so anyway..yes..this is Jack and Nate..his cousin..they are best buds..family…they have so much fun together. This photo makes me smile..if you have family nearby don’t take them for granted…I wish that Jack and Nate lived closer…it makes my heart smile every time they get a chance to be together..it’s not nearly enough..

This is a photo that I took of a baby bird…he fell out of his nest into our grass…such a sweet thing..I took him inside and built a little nest for him..and while he rested we made another make shift nest…with an empty margaine bowl..punched holes in each side..attached a string to it..filled it with grass and went outside and hung it back up in the tree as close as we could to his “real” nest…sure enough a few hours later the momma bird came and got him…that was a good feeling..

so stay tuned…I am going to try to be much better about posting snippets of what is going on with my life…
