For two months during December and January I partnered with Friends of Animals of Utah: Furburbia and conducted a fundraiser. The response was so overwhelming that I extended it into January as it was suppose to originally be a holiday fundraiser. But there was no way I could turn down so many people who wanted to contribute to such a great cause!! I met so many wonderful families who touched my heart. The love they have for their dogs, cats, horses and children is amazing and these families hold a special place in my heart.
If you aren’t familiar with FOA, take a moment and check them out. This non profit is dedicated to rescuing and finding new homes for dogs and cats. Through shelter rescues, FOA has achieved the goal of ending euthanasia of healthy, adoptable dogs and cats in Summit and Wasatch Counties.
Each of these families contributed an amount to FOA in exchange for a sitting with erin beth photography. We raised some great money for these animals who are in such dire need of a loving home. If you are looking for a cat or a dog PLEASE consider Friends of Animals or your local animal shelter. There are so many animals out there that need a loving home, there is no reason to spend hundreds of dollars on a pure bred dog when these dogs in these shelters need homes.
I put together a collage of the 24 families I photographed for this Fundraiser, I just picked one of my favorites from each session!
