365 project dead or alive…

So those of you who follow my blog know that I have committed myself to a 365 day photo project back in January…and well, the last few months have not been easy for me. I haven’t been able to take a photo every single day or even every other day and it’s rather stressing me out! So what I have decided is to continue with this great project and once I reach 365 photos I will call it good, it may not happen by Jan 6th as when I started but at least I saw it through to the end which is a huge deal for me (to finish something!!) in fact it could go into March because I have missed so many days recently but I really, really want to finish.  I want to make a coffee table book out of all the photos in this project so I really am determined!

Though I want to know why it’s so easy to start something and not finish it??? Does anyone else have this problem?? I think I might be the worst, I get so excited over something and then the excitement fades and it begins to feel much more like a job.  So hopefully you are still there cheering me on as I attempt to finish this!  Have a great weekend! I left off with 198 so here we go!

Believe it or not, this picture was taken in September!!  We went to go see the Fall leaves above Park City by Guardsmans Pass and we went to late in the month because there was snow on the ground!!

Baking with Jack…yes, we eat the cookie dough out of the bowl.

While in San Francisco recently I went to a Richard Avedon exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and it was utterly inspiring and fantastic. I have many more photos from this exhibit which I hope to post but this was one of my favorites. I love this man wearing this terrific hat staring so intently at Marilyn Monroe and the angle he is standing makes it look like she is peering back at him.

My beautiful niece in San Francisco.

and the most recent photo of my project was taken last week during the first snowfall in SLC…Jack was thrilled to be playing in it. So I guess I’m in the 200′s so that is good, right??!!

Baby Lilian [Utah Baby Photographer]

There is nothing quite like photography a new baby…delicious smelling and oh so sweet. Baby Lilian was no exception.

The Dog Lodge [Dog Photographer]

I was recently contacted by Christine who owns The Dog Lodge here in Salt Lake City. Christine hired me for a fantastic photo shoot of all of her wonderful and beautiful dogs that come in and stay there while their parents take vacations! She also does a great daily dog care service! I’m just posting a quick sneak peek for now, more to come later!!

I am such a bad blogger, I’m so sorry!! I have so much to post, lots of great sessions but the blog has taken a backseat! Plus I am encountering some technical difficulties. I’m working through them on this blog but it’s also affecting my ability to update new posts. Stay tuned! I promise I will be back!!

Edited to add my most favorite subject besides my own son. I took this image about 20 minutes ago, I’m in SF visiting family at the moment.
