I had the most wonderful shoot today…I will post some pictures tomorrow – hopefully! For my 365 project today I focused on the tulips that my husband gave me! Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Thanks so much for everyone’s support on the previous post. I will keep you updated with what happens. Let’s see, so who has some fun Valentines plans? We are going to lay low tomorrow evening and maybe cook some yummy crab legs or fondue? Yum! Sunday I leave for Las Vegas through Wednesday for a photography convention. I’m super excited, I get to reunite with some photography friends who I met last year in North Carolina at a workshop I attended! So stay tuned for some fun photos of Vegas and yes I am going to try to keep up with my 365 project while I’m there! At least I won’t have to try to find interesting things to shoot, I mean it’s Vegas, every where you turn there is an interesting shot!

When shooting snow, always meter off the snow, not the leave itself or anything else that is in the photo that is of color. I also always overexpose the snow by about 1/2 to 1 full stop to overcompensate for the 18% grey factor.

and I go outside to take pictures because its so darn pretty!
