Here is our group @ Love Affair..it was so inspiring to meet 40 woman from all over the country that are as passionate about photography as I am. I met so many wonderful woman and I know we created some friendships that will last a lifetime.

I arrived to Bald Head Island, NC on Sunday evening..after 12 hours of travel it had been a long day. But..this place is simply beautiful. Our house sits right on the ocean front and as I type this now I can see the waves rolling in. This defintely is not a vacation though I keep trying to remind myself that I need to try and at least make it one..go for walks on the beach, take time out to journal. But rather I find myself waking up at 7am and
staying up till Midnight or 1 o’clock in the morning, a far cry from a vacation for me. When I am working full time at home I get more sleep then I am right now.

However it’s all been worth it. Yesterday was day 1 and we had some lighting workshops and then the best part of the day was photographing some amazing models. I will be sure to post some of those at a later date. So far meeting 39 other woman from all over the country has been very inspirational..to see these women love and be as passionate about something that I am is very exciting.

The countdown is on…Sunday morning I leave for SC for my workshop! I am brimming with excitement – excitement for the unexpected, the something new and for this adventure! Look for updates next week while I am there..I plan to write about what we are doing and posting pictures as well!

On another note, I met with my local group of photographers again on Monday night. As I had mentioned previously this months topic was "websites: what attracts business and what doesn’t." It was very informative and it got my creative juices flowing.

There are lots of exciting things in store for this business and I can’t wait to share them all!
